PACKAGING GUIDE

Bags, boxes or labels: choosing a starting point

Packaging often combines several elements. Start by identifying what holds and protects the product, then consider presentation and information.

Consider how the product is handled

Flexible bags and pouches, folding cartons and corrugated boxes serve different applications. Describe the product weight, shape and handling needs before comparing formats. The right structure depends on the specific product and process.

Plan the brand presentation

Printed boxes and bags can present the brand directly. Labels and hang tags can carry product details or finish the presentation. Consider the surface, available space and information the customer needs to see.

Compare a confirmed specification

When comparing options, use the same product brief and request clear specifications. Material, print, finishing, quantity and delivery conditions should be confirmed rather than inferred from an image.
